InterCapital was founded in 2001 as a bond trading house, on the back of a pension system reform and introduction of mandatory pension funds in Croatia. In 2004 and 2006 it expanded into asset management and brokerage, respectively, and in 2008 into investment banking (corporate finance advisory). In 2024, InterCapital sold part of InterCapital Asset Management’s operations (~€450 million assets under management), with ETF and digital asset management activities separated into distinct lines of business.
Today, we have combined 80 local professionals on the ground, speaking local languages and working together on cross-border situations. 10 professionals are solely dedicated to M&A transactions, as well as equity and debt capital market transactions (ECM & DCM).
