TimeEdit acquires Simac IDS
Today it was announced that Simac IDS has been sold to the Swedish company TimeEdit. The transaction concerns all activities of Simac IDS, both in the Netherlands and in the United Kingdom. TimeEdit is originally also a family-owned business and has been helping universities in Scandinavia for more than twenty‑five years—and worldwide for the past five years—to create curricula, build timetables, and plan academic resources. Simac IDS’s Presto Suite provides tools for monitoring attendance, organizing proactive support, and managing student engagement. Presto is a perfect addition to their portfolio. With this, universities can now link their planning to the actual participation of students and thereby identify at‑risk students at an early stage, advise them, and guide them with any issues or decisions they need to make. Students appreciate this as well; they, too, want to be seen.
