In October 2024, Pražská energetika (PRE) acquired a 100% stake in SolidSun, a leading Czech supplier and installer of photovoltaic (solar) power plants. This strategic move aims to strengthen PRE's position in the solar energy market. SolidSun, established in 2013, has completed over 10,000 installations, providing tailored solar solutions for both households and businesses. Following the acquisition, SolidSun operates as a subsidiary of PREenergo, a PRE Group company offering a wide range of energy services.
