Adapta Capital acquires MAC Group Stands & Events

Adapta Capital, a Spanish private equity investor, acquired MAC Group, a Barcelona-based company specializing in the design and construction of stands and experiential spaces for events, through its portfolio company Irmarfer (Portugal). The transaction aims to strengthen Irmarfer’s capabilities in turnkey event solutions by adding design and interior fit-out expertise. The combination enables the group to deliver more complex projects across trade fairs, corporate events, and large-scale international exhibitions, consolidating its position in Southern Europe

Group of private investors (Muro Capital Partners) acquires Hortalizas Gourmet

A group of private investors composed of entrepreneurs, managers, and investors has acquired Hortalizas Gourmet, a Segovia-based company with over 40 years of experience in the cultivation, processing, and distribution of fresh vegetables. The company is a key player in carrot distribution, supplying supermarkets, specialized chains, and wholesale markets both domestically and internationally. Following the transaction, Jorge Leñero and Carlos Eugui, promoters of Muro Capital Partners, have assumed management and leadership of the company, marking a new growth phase focused on expansion and operational development.

ALBIA IMAP ADVISES MIMPO GLOBAL LOGISTICS ON THE ACQUISITION OF IBEROFORWARDERS

Mimpo Global Logistics strengthens its position in the Spanish market and expands capabilities with the acquisition of Iberoforwarders, a company specialized in international freight forwarding. Mimpo Global Logistics has completed the acquisition of Iberoforwarders, in what represents its first inorganic operation in the Spanish market since its implementation in 2019. With this integration, the company expects to reach a combined turnover of €40 million in Spain by 2025, with a team of more than 60 professionals. The operation allows Mimpo Global Logistics to consolidate its presence in the country, expanding its operational capacity and strengthening its value proposition in the field of international shipping, which represents the bulk of activity for both companies. In particular, the specialization in export and import traffic between Europe, Latin America and the United States, as well as in high value-added vertical sectors, such as industrial, commercial and consumer goods, stands out. In addition to the strengthening in the maritime area, the integration brings new operational capabilities to Mimpo Global Logistics in Spain, such as a 3,000 m² warehouse fitted out as a bonded warehouse, as well as national and international land transport services and specialized logistics solutions for the Canary Islands. With this move, Mimpo Global Logistics gains operational coverage and diversification, without losing focus on its main lines of business: sea, air and land.
