in february 2025, socotec (via its subsidiary socotec immobilier durable, dedicated to sustainable development in construction and real estate) acquired energio. founded in 2005 and based in tours (with a branch in bordeaux), energio is an independent thermal engineering consultancy providing support to property managers and local authorities on energy and environmental issues: energy audits, amo/moe for renovation and construction, carbon assessments, renewable energy studies, heat island management, and energy management (tertiary decree, climate-air-energy plans).

In December 2024, hugo krauze and alexandre de moliner, via okaveo group, acquired crop & co. founded in 2004 in lyon, crop & co helps public and private companies optimize their purchasing processes. The company operates in three main areas: digital purchasing via its collaborative okaveo platform, purchasing performance consulting, and qualiopi-certified training. crop & co has seen strong growth in its digital business over the past three years, reflecting the relevance of its positioning in a market undergoing rapid transformation.

Sale of the lagadec group (lagadec tp, kerleroux, david tp)

On October 8, 2024, the lagadec group, comprising lagadec tp, kerleroux and david tp, was sold. founded in 1910 in finistère, lagadec tp is a family business specializing in public works, in particular civil engineering, earthworks and wet networks (aep, eu, ep). taken over in 1998 by louis-paul lagadec (4th generation), the company has undergone a phase of strong growth, marked by the acquisition of kerleroux in 2002, renowned for its expertise in deconstruction, asbestos removal and public works, followed by david tp in 2011, a recognized player in asphalt mixes and outdoor roadworks.

In March 2024, socotec acquired alhyange. founded in 1998 and based in angers, alhyange specializes in building acoustics, industrial acoustics, environmental acoustics and vibrations. The company supports clients, design offices, architects and manufacturers throughout the entire project lifecycle, from design to operation, through acoustic and vibration measurements, studies, recommendations and site supervision. With seven offices nationwide and more than 600 projects completed each year, alhyange is a major player in acoustic engineering in france.

Socotec acquires BSSI Conseils

Socotec acquired BSSI Conseils in December 2023. Founded in 2000 by Thierry and Marie-José Davanzo, BSSI is a family-run engineering and consultancy firm with a strong reputation in the fields of construction, environment, safety, energy and accessibility. With a staff of some fifty experts, the company specializes in engineering, project management, technical assistance and consultancy, fire safety and asbestos, with a long-standing presence in the eastern part of France and a national reach. This acquisition is part of Socotec's external growth strategy aimed at strengthening its engineering and technical consulting expertise across the entire asset lifecycle.
